Play at New Brighton Exchange
New Brighton Exchange also includes planned parks and trails.  This may include both active use parks and passive (wild or natural) use areas.  Preliminary park planning efforts have occurred that have outlined several conceptual designs for the four City parks.  The park planning efforts focused on the south park, central park, north park, and east park.  To date, the south park has been developed with a trail system that ties directly into adjacent Long Lake Regional Park.  The designs of the central, north, and east parks will be finalized at the time they are developed.

New Brighton Exchange is located directly adjacent to the largest regional park in Ramsey County with Long Lake Regional Park.  This park will prove to be a big asset for those who live and/or work within New Brighton Exchange as Long Lake Regional Park includes a boat launch, beach, and an extensive regional trail system.

Also an asset to the development is the New Brighton Community Center, located just a ¼ mile south on Old Highway 8 NW, easily accessible through the existing sidewalk system.  The New Brighton Community Center includes the Eagle's Nest Indoor Playground, fitness center, meeting and event center, and the offices of the New Brighton Parks and Recreations staff.
